Julie Martinez, Broker/Owner of Prominent Mortgage Lending, Inc (PML), has 26 years of mortgage and real estate experience. She has an office in Copperopolis, CA and an office in Winsor, CA.
When Julie and her husband bought their first home in 1980, they knew nothing about home loans and were put into a negative amortization loan and were shocked to see their balance owed was growing. This triggered Julie to start learning about the different type of mortgage loans and started taking courses on the subject.
Learning has been something she has always enjoyed. Julie graduated from high school at 16, earned her Associate of Arts Degree at 18, and Bachelor of Arts in Business at age 20. In 1998 she acquired her Loan Originator License from the State of California and worked for a Broker, who taught her a lot about the business.
In 2013, she acquired her Broker License and opened Prominent Mortgage Lending, Inc. With a client base of approximately 1100, PML is a full-service mortgage brokerage covering purchase loans, refinance loan, home equity loans and Reverse mortgage loans.
Julie is a 7-time winner of the Diablo Magazine Five Star Top Mortgage Professionals in San Francisco East Bay and has been featured in Forbes Magazine in the 2019 and 2020 issues for Top Mortgage Broker in the East Bay Area.
Julie's hobbies are spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and singing/Karaoke.
